Measuring up 3/25 & Weighing in 3/27

Lost 3 more inches...gained 4 lbs....hmmm... As of this morning I was down a couple of lbs so I think it's water. At least I hope. Not the result I was looking for but I'm not complaining. 172 is a whole lot better than 204!

Concerned....

I am having surgery on May 1st. This is limit me from working out at all 2 weeks post surgery and then no strength training or abdominal work 6 weeks post surgery. I just don't want to lose too much muscle. I also don't want to lose my drive. I really love being in shape and keeping my body fit. I crave exercise now. I am happy before, after and during exercise. It gives me mental clarity and focus. The Lord is responsible for the majority of that. He has given me the hope and inner peace to know that with Him in my life, all things are possible. I really need to reach out to my Jesus right now and pray for guidance and strength during my down time. I know I can bounce back, but what price am I going to have to pay for stopping? I hope I don't gain more than 5 lbs and gain more than a few inches. I am going to reduce my calories to 1300 a day while I'm down and unable to work out. I won't need all the extra calories I usually consume, while active. That should help keep some stability.

Fell last week

Had to skip working out last Thursday. The first time ever. I fell on some ice and smacked my head on a cement step and landed straight on my butt. OUCH!!!

But I worked out again today and felt great, but still sore. I weight in on Monday and am not too optimistic. I think I might have either gained a couple of pounds or lost nothing. I won't let it discourage me. I am going to keep this up.

Goals:

By April 15th - 170 lbs

By October 10th - 150 lbs

By June 9th (2007) - 125 lbs (my goal weight).

As of my last weigh in I weigh 177 lbs.
